My nephew Steven Blocher was one of the 24 crew members of the U.S. Navy EP3 that made an emergency landing at a Chinese airbase following a collision with a Chinese fighter on April 1st, 2001. Following the 11 day ordeal in which they were unwilling "guests" of the Chinese government, the 24 returned to Whidbey Island, Washington to a heros' welcome. Steven's brother Bob took the pictures that follow of the happy reunion.
